New Year, New Season

2015 is the beginning of the 11th year of having our farm opened to the public (agritourism) to see all the animals and birds. We open April 4th for our annual Easter Egg Hunt, then open weekends (weather permitting) until May. From Memorial Weekend until Halloween, we are open daily.

Looking Forward For Spring

Even with this mild and very little snow this Winter, still looking forward to Spring! Warm and sunny days, green grass, flowers growing and the birth of many animals here on the farm. Will have baby goat kids, lambs and bunnies when we have our annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 10:00-2:00.

Field Trip

Still is time to call or email  to book your school School field trip for during the day. Other groups can book for evenings or other times. Group rate is $6.00 per student. Each student gets a free pumpkin. If it won't work for this year, make plans for next fall.

Beautiful Fall

Any time of the year is a good time to visit Erickson's [Petting Zoo. But their is something special about the Fall Season! The last few days and this weekend should be just perfect to come on out to or farm. Pick your own pumpkin patch, tractor and wagon ride, orange maze, hay bale maze, corn maze, large playgrounds for the kids to run and play, decorated yard for picture taking and pony rides. Experience Memories

     What we want families who come to our petting zoo to leave with is: Experience & Memories! The experience to be on a real farm. Experience to see many different farm animals and birds in their natural setting. During the Fall Season can see how all the pumpkins, squash and gourds actually grow. Get the experience of searching for the just right pumpkin from our pick your own pumpkin patch. All of these different experiences lead to memories. We call it- "Making Memories" at Erickson's Petting Zoo.

So much better than picking on off a shelf or out of a big box in a store. Thanks for all the nice compliments on the size of our pumpkins. Open every weekend until Halloween to get your pumpkins, squash , gourds, straw bales and corn shocks for decorating.

What a beautiful weekend coming on up to go visit a real pick your own pumpkin patch. We have several different pumpkin patches to explore to find your perfect pumpkin. Have many different decorated areas in the farm yard for photo taking opportunities. 

We Are Open

Our Fall Family Fun Weekends have begun! Even with all the different activities going on all around the area, had a very nice turnout for our first day. Open tomorrow, Sunday, noon-5pm. Was a beautiful day for families to feed the animals, search for the perfect pumpkin, explore and play in all the different playgrounds. Have a lot of young animals that were born late summer. Our newest addition is Momma Pig and her babies just born on September 17th!
